Mad Max: Fury Road – Watercolor Edition

Still can’t get enough of Mad Mad: Fury Road – even though you’ve seen it like four times? Here’s more. Los Angeles-based filmmaker Pablo Fernández Eyre has recreated a chase scene from the film using a watercolor animation style. It may look softer, but the action is still hardcore.

It is a fun 31-second short that makes me think of that classic a-ha video, which someone should definitely mash-up with Mad Max too. Except this animation is more colorful and more fast and furious. Eyre achieved this awesome effect by using the Grut Oil Dense Weather brush in Photoshop. Now I want to see the entire movie in watercolor.
