A Supercut of Mad Max POV Shots
May 31st, 2015George Miller is a genius. We knew that as far back as the first Mad Max movie which set everything up. His use of practical effects and locations has always been amazing. The movie does use CG for some effects, like the sandstorm for instance, but most of the action was shot with real actors and stuntpeople on real vehicles risking their lives in the desert.
Miller excels at this, and now editor Rishi Kaneria has put together a great supercut of all of the awesome POV shots from the earlier films. If you haven’t seen Mad Max or The Road Warrior, you need to remedy that right away. You are missing some of the best cinema in history. Awesome stuff. I could watch this all day.
