Tomica x Star Wars Die-cast Cars

Everyone was happy when Hot Wheels started making die-cast toy cars inspired by Star Wars characters. I didn’t see how Star Wars die-cast cars could get any cooler, but boy was I wrong. Tomica has revealed its own line of Star Wars-themed cars and these have much more personality and style than the Hot Wheels. It’s as if Star Wars and Pixar’s Cars movie collided.

We have Darth Vader, R2-D2, C-3PO, Yoda, and a Stormtrooper in wheeled form. The pre-order price for the set is about $225(USD). While that’s extremely pricey, these are much cooler than the Hot Wheels versions. Sorry Hot Wheels. THIS is how you do die-cast cars when you get the Star Wars license. I’ll take two of each please. One to play with and one to put away.
