Rick Baker Prop Auction Packed with Creatures
May 28th, 2015

When you think of creepy movie makeup effects, the first name to come to mind is none other than Rick Baker. The man is a master of the craft, having contributed amazing creatures to such films as An American Werewolf in London, Men in Black, and even Michael Jackson’s Thriller and Moonwalker music videos.
Now, if you’ve got some money to spare, you could own some prosthetics, masks, puppet rigs, costumes, and models from Rick Baker’s expansive collection. The Prop Store is auctioning off over 400 items, all without reserve prices. Among the items for sale are original items from the aforementioned films, as well as Harry and the Hendersons, Gorillas in the Mist, Gremlins 2, The Wolfman, and Hellboy, among others. Check out a few of the best items in the gallery below:
You can bid now online, but the live auction takes place at 11am tomorrow (May 29th) at the Hilton Universal City in Los Angeles. Keep in mind that many of the items are very delicate, so picking up in person in LA is probably your best move if you can swing it.
