The X-Files Is Officially Returning in January

These days it doesn’t mean much when a show gets cancelled. It used to mean that a show was gone forever, but now it seems that any cancelled show can come back at any time. Take The X-Files for instance. Now this revived show has an official return date.

The six-episode limited series run will air on FOX starting on January 24th, 2016. Mark your calendars. The two-night premiere will follow the NFC Championship game, and its regular time slot will be on Monday nights at 8pm. At least now we have a date and can adjust our schedules accordingly. We don’t want to miss Mulder and Scully on their latest weird adventures in conspiracy land.
