Yamasong: March of the Hollows Trailer
May 7th, 2015This trailer is crazy. It’s full of puppets. Not Muppets. Puppets. It comes from Dark Dunes Productions and it certainly has a whole Dark Crystal vibe throughout. The movie is called Yamasong: March of the Hollows.
Yamasong is the first major (non-Muppet) puppet film to be made in the U.S. since Team America, with executive producers Toby Froud (son of Brian Froud) and Heather Henson (daughter of Jim Henson). The voice talents include Whoopi Goldberg, Nathan Fillion, and Abigail Breslin.
Judging from the trailer, this movie will either be the best thing ever or completely unwatchable. It does have a lot of big names stars attached to it. Aside from the aforementioned stars, RoboCop star Peter Weller, Ed Asner, Malcolm McDowell and even Star Trek’s George Takei are providing voices. It will be interesting to see how this movie turns out.
