EXTROPY Teases Us with a Futuristic Motorcycle Chase

by Paul Strauss

If director Dylan J Nathan’s short concept film is to be believed, in the future, not only will we be upgrading our body parts with augmentations, the line between humans and their machine parts will be completely blurred.

In this scene from EXTROPY, we’re presented with a man riding powerful motorcycle through the urban landscape. However, it’s immediately apparent that the man and machine are one, resulting in a strange fusion of organic and mechanical forms. While the 2-minute proof-of-concept film doesn’t have the time to explore its character’s backstory, or the philosophical debate about augmentations, there’s plenty of eye candy, and it makes you want to know more about who this man is running from, and what drove him to install all of his components in the first place.
