Yoda is very old. We know this from the Star Wars movies. However he may be much older than we thought. And he may have visited our galaxy in the distant past. Here’s proof. Some images were found in medieval manuscripts. They are called “illumination” and these images have everything from saints to nuns. Apparently they also have images of Jedi Master Yoda.

From BoingBoing“Historians Damien Kempf and Maria L. Gilbert, whose new book Medieval Monsters collects illustrations from bestiaries, travel books, maps, bibles, and other medieval documents, spotted Yoda in a 14th century manuscript called the Smithfield Decretals.”

That’s him alright. Looks like he made himself more of a greyish color to try to blend in. Seeing that it took us over 600 years to notice, I guess he did a good job.
