Stewart and Tyson Talk Science and Batman v. Superman

by John Thomas

Affable astrophysicist Neil deGrasse Tyson was recently on The Daily Show flogging the fact that his StarTalk radio show is moving to TV on the NatGeo channel. It was an interesting conversation with the always insightful Jon Stewart and it touched on intriguing topics including whether or not humans will ever live on mars, the recent expansion in interest by the public in scientific topics in general, and the definition and evolution of the word “geek” and exactly who it applies to.

And then things got serious.

Stewart dropped a bomb no one saw coming. He hit Tyson with a pop culture question that’s as no brainer as they get – if Superman and Batman went at it, who would come out victorious?

And then Tyson hit Stewart with shot to the temple that made the scientist sound more like a sociologist than an astrophysicist. Think you know who he picked and why? I doubt it. Watch and learn.
