BSG’s Aaron Douglas and Adam Savage Build Cylon Models

These are two things that I really really enjoy: Battlestar Galactica and watching Adam Savage build stuff. So this video is an awesome treat as far as I’m concerned. Adam Savage has started a series called “One Day Builds”. The series shows the Mythbuster as he builds models and spends some time with different guests. In this episode, Battlestar Galactica’s Chief Tyrol, aka Aaron Douglas drops by.

While hanging out, they build some Cylon models – which is never a good idea. Thy may just end up killing us all. Among the cool tips you can learn from this installment is this handy tidbit: paint figures in the order you get dressed; skin first, then hair, then clothing. You start from the layers closest to the skin, moving outwards. It’s worth a watch if you have the time.
