Clips from the New Star Wars Digital Release

Lucasfilm just announced that they will be releasing the entire Star Wars saga on digital HD along with some brand new bonus features. Since most of us already own Star Wars in one form or another, the new bonus features are what we really want. We always crave new behind the scenes footage and stories about the making of the movies.

These special features fall into two main sections: Conversations, which features talks with some of the most essential people involved in the making of the movies and Discoveries from Inside, which is a more traditional behind-the-scenes type of feature. But here is the good news.

We already have two new clips. The first is a conversation with set decorator Roger Christian and effects technician, now director, Joe Johnston about the making of the Millennium Falcon. The second clip should settle some geek feuds as it confirms the color of Han Solo’s Hoth jacket. I didn’t even know there was a debate about this, but anyway, now you have your answer.
