Avengers: Age of Ultron – ’90s Style

In anticipation of the May 1st release of Avengers: Age of Ultron, Vulture enlisted the help of video remixer Louis “Sleepy Skunk” Plamondon to create a 1990’s style trailer for the superhero blockbuster.

Borrowing a page from action hits like Independence Day and True Lies, and adding a dramatic voiceover, it gives the movie a bit more of a sense of drama and consequence than the noisy, over-the-top, bass-note-filled trailers we’re used to seeing these days…
