Short Film: Sundays

by Paul Strauss

What do you get when you put 1984, District 9 and The Matrix into a blender? You get Sundays. Director Mischa Rozema and PostPanic Pictures’ short film envisions a dark, dystopian future, in which human worker bees slave away in cubicles as surveillance systems monitor their every move. But all is not as it seems on the surface, and humanity may be in much worse shape than their bland corporate lives might indicate on the surface.

The 12+ minute film sets the stage for what are ambitions for a feature-length film, and there’s definitely enough mystery and visual interest here to make me want to see more.
