At Last, A Smartphone Controlled K-9

There is more Doctor Who merchandise around now than at any other time in the show’s history. We are truly living in a great age for Whovians. You can get everything from t-shirts to action figures to a TARDIS mini-fridge. And K-9! You can get so many K-9 items.

The latest awesome toy is the new smartphone controlled K-9. He talks, his ears move, the eyes light up, he’s motorized, and the probe in his nose even extends. And thanks to a dedicated app, you can control him with your smartphone via Bluetooth. This is seriously my dream toy. I love that robot dog.

There is one caveat. It is only 1/4 scale, so it isn’t life-sized. Sadly. Still, it is awesome. The UK release date for the toy is April 30 according to Forbidden Planet. It will cost you about $100(USD).
