This action-packed scene introduces us to the adventuring archaeologist, and it came out perfectly in the end. But did you know that Lucas got the idea for the boulder from a Scrooge McDuck comic? What about that amazing sound that the boulder made as it is chasing Dr. Jones? That was sound editor Ben Burtt’s Honda Civic driving over some gravel. Yet somehow it all came together magically.
