Trailer for New Back to the Future Documentary
March 11th, 2015The Back to the Future franchis is suddenly popular once again thanks to the fact that we’re now living in the “future” of 2015 that was imagined in the second film. Our 2015 may be different, but we can’t help pulling these movies out, dusting them off and comparing notes. So it makes sense that now would be a good time for a documentary.
Back in Time is a forthcoming documentary that started out as an interview with Christopher Lloyd but has evolved into a full feature, with commentary from Robert Zemeckis, Michael J. Fox, Lea Thompson, Bob Gale, Alan Silvestri, as well as a look at the huge impact the movie has had on geek culture.
It looks like a fun watch. Of course since this film has grown, that means it will cost more. So they are trying to fund its completion via Kickstarter. The goal is to raise $50,000(USD) to complete the project. They have already raised over $22,000 so far, with nearly a month left to go in the campaign. Go fund this cool doc about a very cool trilogy.
