Tomorrowland (Trailer)

One of the more intriguing looking films headed to theaters this coming summer is Tomorrowland. Directed by Brad Bird (The Iron Giant, The Incredibles, Mission: Impossible – Ghost Protocol), the movie follows the story of a smart young teenage girl full of wonder who must team up with a former boy genius to help save a mysterious futuristic land in peril.

The plot details are still pretty fuzzy, but it sounds like the girl is the key to preventing some sort of calamity that befalls a dreamlike utopian society designed to protect and house the world’s most intelligent people. What could possibly go wrong with that scenario? It sounds a bit like a PG-rated version of BioShock to me.

Tomorrowland opens on May 22, 2015, and stars George Clooney, Britt Robertson, Hugh Laurie, Raffey Cassidy, Tim McGraw, Judy Greer, Kathryn Hahn, Keegan-Michael Key and Thomas Robinson.
