SNL: Avengers Defeat Ultron

I have to say that last night’s Saturday Night Live with Chris Hemsworth was pretty awful. Only a couple of sketches were worth even mentioning – one of them involved a starship with a chicken as its captain, and the other was this amusing parody of The Avengers: Age of Ultron.

In the skit, Hemsworth – in his native Aussie accent and donning his Thor garb – is joined by the other Avengers to celebrate their defeat of Ultron. Thor likes to gloat. Tony Stark is as cocky as ever, Bruce Banner is clueless about what he did when he was the Hulk, Nick Fury is angry, and Captain America throws a wet blanket on the festivities, like he always seems to do. Serious, dude, lighten up.
