Japanese Mad Max: Fury Road Trailer

There’s nothing in the world quite like a Mad Max movie. It is it’s own genre and nothing else comes close. This action-packed Japanese trailer for Mad Max: Fury Road shows us some new scenes from the apocalyptic wasteland and the movie looks like another amazing installment in the series.

This trailer really highlights how crazy this movie will be. There are lots of new shots throughout. It really looks like George Miller outdid himself on this one. Here’s the official synopsis:

Haunted by his turbulent past, Max Rockatansky (Tom Hardy) believes the best way to survive is to wander alone. Nevertheless, he becomes swept up with a group fleeing across the Wasteland in a War Rig driven by an elite Imperator, Furiosa (Charlize Theron).

They are escaping a Citadel tyrannized by the Immortan Joe (Hugh Keays-Byrne), from whom something irreplaceable has been taken. Enraged, the Warlord marshals all his gangs and pursues the rebels ruthlessly in the high-octane Road War that follows.

Mad Max: Fury Road will hit theaters on May 15, 2015.
