Art of the Scene: Stay-Puft Marshmallow Man

The Stay-Puft marshmallow sequence in Ghostbusters is one of those classic scenes that everybody remembers. I can only imagine the first time the producers saw the part of the script that described a gigantic walking marshmallow attacking New York City Kaiju-style.

In this video, the guys from CineFix look back at this classic scene, exploring its genesis in Dan Aykroyd and Harold Ramis’ original script, and just what it took to pull off the effect convincingly on the big screen.
