Everything Wrong with The Fifth Element

The Fifth Element is one of my favorite guilty pleasure sci-fi flicks of all time. It’s loaded with over the top characters, costumes, sets, and has a pretty ridiculous storyline. But as eye candy goes, it’s right up there at the top of my list. I mean, come on, Milla Jovovich in that skimpy white outfit and shocking orange hair was the Farrah Fawcett pinup girl of the late 1990s. Of course, a film so obsessed with its style is probably fraught with issues, and that’s exactly what the guys from Cinema Sins point out in their latest clip, Everything Wrong With The Fifth Element in 16 Minutes or Less.

Yes, there are dozens of plot holes, clichés, implausible conceits, gaffes, and cheesy dialogue a plenty, but I don’t care. It’s still an awesome movie. Big Bada Boom.
