Short Film: Story of R32

So you can’t wait for Chappie to come out?  Vladimir Vlasenko’s short live-action/CGI film about a robot who longs for a human connection has a similar theme, and manages to tell an emotionally compelling story in under three minutes.

As the lonely robot attempts to find a human who will pay attention to him, he makes a single connection that will dramatically alter the course of one child’s life. Though I am wondering if the girl wouldn’t have been put in harm’s way if she had never reached out to R32 in the first place.
