Sci-Fi Short Film: ATROPA

by Conner Flynn

Atropa is a slick Sci-Fi concept short about an off-world detective who investigates the missing research vessel ATROPA. It was inspired by ’70s and ’80s sci-fi movies like Alien and Blade Runner. You will feel the tension and you’ll also enjoy some really nice visuals and a great atmosphere.

Sadly, it doesn’t reach much of a conclusion and is more of a visual concept than anything else. I would definitely like to see this one expanded into a feature length movie or even a web series. The production values are excellent. This short was directed by Eli Sasich and written by Clay Tolbert who did an amazing job. I have just one request: More please!
