Concept Art Shows the Evolution of Boba Fett

Concept Art Shows the Evolution of Boba Fettzoom in

This is really awesome. Some vintage Star Wars concept art has surfaced showing off the original designs for Boba Fett, the coolest bounty hunter ever. Well, until the prequels anyway.

Boba Fett was developed by the future director of Captain America Joe Johnston when he was working as a concept designer along with Ralph McQuarrie. In these sketches, you can see how the helmet and costume evolved during the design phase. It started out with more of a stormtrooper look, but soon became the costume we know and love. Although there’s no doubt that the stormtrooper looking one would have looked amazing in the movies as well.

See more over at The Dented Helmet.
