Continuum Picked up for Shorter Final Season

It took extra long to find out, but we now know the fate of the time-travel drama Continuum. There’s good news and some bad news. It is coming back for a fourth and final season, but it won’t have a full 13-episode run. Series creator Simon Barry and star Rachel Nichols both confirmed that the series will return for a final season of six episodes in 2015. I guess that will wrap things up after the crazy cliffhanger that left us all craving more.

While not perfect, this is one of the few outstanding sci-fi shows on TV at the moment, using modern events to tell a cautionary tale that also involves time travel plots that will make your head spin. I’m glad we will at least get everything resolved. I can’t wait to see how they end it all.
