Star Wars VII Trailer Remade with Classic Footage

Another day, another remake of the trailer for Star Wars: The Force Unleashed. But this version does things a bit differently. Rather than going the parody route, YouTuber Dr. Jimmy Russell recreated the trailer using only footage collected from the original three Star Wars flicks.

In addition to being brilliantly executed, it really does show off the derivative nature of the Episode VII footage seen thus far, and the marketing team’s attempt to remind fans of the classic films instead of the less-than-stellar prequels. Let’s hope that the movie lives up to that vision as well.
