Motion “Poster” for Terminator: Genisys

by Conner Flynn

Later this week we will get to see the first trailer for Terminator: Genisys. After hearing about the plot synopsis, we are all hoping that it isn’t as stupid as it sounds. But while we are waiting, the studio has unveiled the first poster for the sequel – and they animated it for good measure.

There aren’t many details to be had here, just some cool imagery. Here we see a metal Terminator skull dissolving into dust and trickling down into a pile like an hourglass. Time travel. Get it? Reports are that this movie will essentially create an alternate timeline outside of the original series. The idea is that we will be with Sarah Connor before the events of the previous films. Fingers crossed that it turns out good, butĀ I have my concerns.

We’re expected to the firstĀ trailer for the movie this Thursday, so hopefully that will give us a better idea of what to expect.
