Honest Trailer: Dawn of the Planet of the Apes

Honest Trailers throws its trademark barbs at what could be the best Planet of the Apes movie to date. As they so keenly point out, it’s got “a monkey, dual-wielding machine guns on horseback – fighting a tank.” What’s not to like? Except maybe Gary Oldman. What was with him in this movie? On the other hand, Andy Serkis deserves every accolade he’s ever received. I mean the guy has to do all of his scenes in a silly MoCap suit and somehow still manages to turn in more emotion and dynamics in his performances than most actors playing humans.

But I digress. Watch this video if you need a good laugh. And then listen to the last thing the announcer says about the movie, and you won’t be able to stop thinking about it. I’m sure of it.
