The Evolution of Robots in Film (Infographic)

Robots sure have changed since the earliest science fiction movies. From robots like Gort to C-3PO and R2-D2, to V.I.N.CENT, to Johnny 5 to Johnny Cab to Wall-E, the guys at WebHostingBuzz put together this great infographic which illustrates some of the many iconic robots seen in movies over the years. It’s by no means comprehensive – there’s no Terminator or Data, but I guess those are androids more than straight-up robots, so I’ll forgive them even if they did include Ash from Alien. What I can’t forgive is the lack of 1980s Robot from The Muppets.
