The Empire – Episode 1: Lunchbox

Check out this short film by Carl Whiteley. It’s a version of the sitcom The Office done up Star Wars style. And it is hilarious. Carl was sad to see The Office end so he made his own version. I liked the TV version, but I like yours better, Carl. It’s got Darth Vader as Michael Scott. What’s not to like?

It is extremely well done and the comedy is great. Hollywood prosthetic artist Shaune Harrison – who actually worked on Episode I and II – did the Emperor make up on Bruce Jones. I only hope they make more of these, because I would like to binge watch several episodes of this series. It’s had to even pick a best part. It might have to be the Stormtrooper Guinness scene.
