Interview with a Time Traveler

Interview with a Time Traveler is a short science fiction film which delivers on exactly what its title promises. Directed by James Cooper and written by Peter Rowley, the film explores the unexpected weight that a time traveler must carry on his or her shoulders.

What makes the film work so well, is its complete lack of action, special effects, rapid edits or any of the other visual elements one normally associates with science fiction, instead, focusing on the quiet interaction between two characters. Perhaps it should have been named My Dinner with Andre but Andre Happens to be a Time Traveler, and Dinner is a Tape Recorder.
