Princess Leia Walking in NYC

Remember the viral video of a woman walking down the street in New York, and all of the oglers who bothered her along the way? While that clip conveyed a very important point about the objectification of women, it’s spawned a number of humorous spoofs as well. My favorite has to be this one, in which Princess Leia attempts to walk the streets of NYC without being bothered.

Unfortunately, she is quickly surrounded by suitors invariably drawn to the buns on the side of her head. From Han Solo to Yoda to Luke Skywalker to Darth Vader himself, the guys don’t stop approaching her without solicitation.

I can only image what would have happened if she were wearing her Slave Leia outfit.
