2001: A Remix

2001: A Space Odyssey is a classic for so numerous reasons. From its stark vision of the future, to its cinematography, to its memorable characters and dialogue, to its sweeping classical soundtrack. But if you’re not into the music of Richard Strauss, you might prefer the musical track which Eclectic Method put together.

As usual, their electronic track makes ample use of sound samples from the movie. Whether or not you dig it, you have to admit it’s way better than Deodato’s 1973 funkified disco remake of Also sprach Zarathustra…
