Trailer for Doctor Who Christmas Special

“It’s Christmas, the North Pole. Who you gonna call?”

The BBC has released the first promo for the upcoming Doctor Who Christmas Special. Because what would Christmas be without Doctor Who? And since Peter Capaldi’s Doctor is often grumpy, this year the Doctor is the Grinch. Okay, I made that up.

However from what we can gather from the trailer, it looks like Santa Clause is going to help the Doctor and Clara battle some kind of disgusting and slimly creature inspired by the movie Alien. Get ready for a scary, but no doubt merry Christmas. Also, Santa is being played by Nick Frost, so that’s the first gift to fans this season.
