Reach for the Stars: A Tribute to Space Exploration

To coincide with the release of Interstellar, the guys at Movieclips Trailers put together this tribute to science fiction and space exploration, overdubbing Matthew McConaughey’s emotional trailer voiceover with footage from movies and real life NASA missions.

The 3-minute montage includes scenes from classics ranging from 2001: A Space Odyssey to Star Trek III: The Search for Spock, to Apollo 13 and Gravity, among others. If you haven’t seen Interstellar yet, watch this to get in the mood before heading out to the theater. And if you have seen it, then watch this montage anyway. It’s well worth it.
