Star Trek TNG: Data and Spot Poster

Data is always striving to understand humanity and in the process he hopes to find it within himself. In his efforts to understand humanity, the android has taken to painting and even got himself a cat named Spot. He once even wrote a poem about his feline friend:
O Spot, the complex levels of behavior you display
Connote a fairly well-developed cognitive array.
And though you are not sentient and do not comprehend,
I nonetheless consider you a true and valued friend.
