Iron Bat Helmet

So you’re a fan of Iron Man and Batman. What ever will you do when it comes to Halloween or cosplay time? Look no further than Iron Bat. While Stargates‘ full-size wearable helmet clearly is inspired by both Iron Man’s armor and Batman’s cowl, it’s also a completely original design – and it looks awesome.

This is no cheap costume prop either. It’s been handmade from fiberglass-reinforced resin, giving it the sort of heft of a motorcycle helmet. And while the eyes light up, you can actually see out of them too.

Sadly, it’s highly unlikely that DC Comics and Marvel will ever work so closely together as to make their own Iron Bat comic. Personally, I love the idea. A wealthy, dark, brooding superhero with the ballsy attitude of Tony Stark. For now, you’ll have to be the badass hero that we deserve.
