L3.0: Lonely Robot Seeks Friend

L3.0 is a downer, but nonetheless well made short film about a lonely robot who just wants someone to play with him. It’s beautifully made and well worth a watch. I’m just not sure if the ending is supposed to be sad or horrifying, but I found it to be both.

This lonely robot is living on his own with no other living things to interact with. So he writes some notes on paper planes and throws them out over the city. Hopefully a playmate will come. Soon enough a companion does come to provide him with some company. But maybe there is a reason that this robot is so alone…
