Star Wars Table Runners

Star Wars fans looking for a way to decorate their dining table might want to check out these cloth table runners I spotted from Japanese mega-retailer Rakuten. Officially, they’re being sold as washcloths, but they sure look like they belong on a table to me. All I know is I don’t remember ever serving rice, sushi and miso soup on a washcloth. I’m not really sure, since Google Translate sort of let me down on this one:

They’re available in a variety of Japanese floral and landscape patterns, which manage to work in Yoda, R2-D2, C-3PO, Darth Vader, and Stormtroopers, among other iconic Star Wars imagery.

Naturally, you’ll want to grab a set of droid salt and pepper shakers and some fine ceramic plates to complete the theme.
