The Verse: Loot Crate’s Firefly Fan Film

Loot Crate is already pretty awesome. They send you cool stuff every month, but I guess that just wasn’t good enough. Now they’re giving you something else that you want. Something you need! Something that even Joss Whedon can’t deliver. More Firefly! Sort of.

The guys at Loot Crate sure know how to win our hearts. Sadly the film doesn’t have any of the original characters so far, but hey, that would be near impossible. The tone and spirit is pretty dead on. They might be trying a bit too hard. It’s worth a look if you need your Firefly fix. It’s pretty cool, but it just leaves me wanting the real thing, with the real cast, even more.
