More Spaceships Made from Recycled Electronics
August 19th, 2014

Daniel Shankalonian makes all sorts of desktop sculptures from recycled electronic components, but our favorites have to be the ones based on spaceships from classic science fiction movies and TV series. We’ve previously featured some of his sculptures but wanted to share some more designs that we really like.
His sculptures range from the Starship Enterprise fabricated from old hard drive parts, to the Battlestar Galactica Colonial Viper made from circuit boards and capacitors. He even made a TRON Recognizer from old computer parts. What’s the last time you saw a TRON Recognizer sculpture? Talk about an underappreciated vehicle design.
Other designs include X-Wing and B-Wing fighters, and the Normandy SR-2 from Mass Effect 2. Prices for most of Daniel’s sculptures range from $25 to $150 and they can be found over on his Etsy shop.
