Interceptor LEGO Kit: Mel Gibson Minifig Sold Separately
July 31st, 2014

Ichiban Toys makes some truly great custom LEGO kits, with many inspired by classic movies and TV shows. Since they’re not officially-licensed designs, but fan art, they can’t be called what they are, but they’re still awesome. The latest cool kit from Ichiban is the Interceptor.
We’ll leave it to you to figure out the make and model of the car, as well as the movie it’s from. But if you’re a fan, you know exactly what it’s inspired by, and you’re just as excited by us at the prospect of building this kit.
While it’s measures just 5.75″ long and is only 169 pieces, it does a great job paying tribute to the film it’s based on, with great little details like the dual fuel tanks in back, and the big V8 popping out of the hood. About the only thing missing is a series of minifigs to go with.
We’d also like a Nightrider car kit to go with, just so we can say the line “I am the Nightrider. I’m a fuel injected suicide machine. I am the rocker, I am the roller, I am the out-of-controller!” while we play with our LEGO bricks.
