J.J. Abrams Reveals Full-size Redesigned X-wing

You might remember that Director J.J. Abrams is promoting a non-profit fundraiser on the set of Star Wars: Episode VII and his strategy seems to be to leak new info while he talks about it. He has our attention.

In the video here he talks about the “Force For Change” initiative for UNICEF and uses it an excuse to reveal a full-size, newly designed X-Wing prop from the upcoming Star Wars sequel. It looks pretty good. Like it could just fly off. Here’s the thing. Is it really an X-Wing if the wings no longer make an x shape? I’ll leave that to the rest of you nerd philosophers.
