$1.5 Million Gold 60th Anniversary Godzilla Figure

To celebrate Godzilla’s 60th anniversary since first appearing on the big screen, the Japanese jewelry maker Ginza Tanaka was commissioned to create a 24-karat gold figure of the King of the Monsters. Weighing in at about 33 pounds, this golden kaiju is priced at an epic 150,000,000 Yes (nearly $1.5 million USD). It measures approximately 9.5 inches tall, 7.5 inches wide, and is nearly 14 inches long. It’s displayed on a matching black marble base and will be available beginning July 20, 2014 at all Ginza Tanaka stores in Japan.
