Brick-A-Pic: Turn an Image into LEGO Bricks

Brick-A-Pic is software that not only converts any image into a LEGO mosaic design you can use, but you can then click a button and order the full set of LEGO bricks and instructions needed to create the piece yourself. The software not only determines the best way to recreate the image in a mosaic using the available LEGO brick colors, it also determines optimum brick placement and generates the instructions.

You can try out the first step already on the BrickAPic website. It looks really cool and we want to build LEGO mosaics of all our favorite selfies! A pledge of $60 helps fund the software and you can get a 16×16 kit.
