Guy Cosplays As A Stormtrooper, Street Gets Put On Lockdown

It’s tough to do anything these days without getting hassled by “the man”. And we don’t even live under the rule of the Galactic Empire. Case in point: Chris Burns was walking down the street dressed as a Stormtrooper, minding his own business, when employees at a store called Action Travel in Salina, Kansas called the authorities. It was the weapon they were concerned about: a toy blaster.

“Maybe we should call, just make a call,” Action Travel employee Janelle Snyder said. “Due to the stuff that’s happened out in Colorado at the theater and just weird stuff. If he wouldn’t have had the gun, we wouldn’t have thought about it.”

Have you never seen youtube or realized that people do dress up weird and film videos? That’s what Chris was doing. Filming Vine videos for his channel called Stormtrooper Sam, which chronicles the life of an unemployed Stormtrooper after the Empire is no more. He was just taking a break at the time. Out of work Stormtroopers just can’t catch a break. People are biased against Imperial police. Plain and simple.
