Zero Theorem: New Trailer for Terry Gilliam Flick

The Zero Theorem is a new sci-fi film by director Terry Gilliam and starring Christoph Waltz. And, although the early reviews from overseas have been somewhat lackluster, we still want to see it for Waltz’s performance which, as you can see in this clip, looks fantastic. The film is directed by Terry Gilliam (Brazil, Twelve Monkeys) and stars Christoph Waltz, Melanie Thierry, Tilda Swinton and Matt Damon.

In the film, an eccentric and reclusive computer genius (Waltz) plagued with existential angst works on a mysterious project aimed at discovering the purpose of existence—or the lack thereof—once and for all. However, it is only once he experiences the power of love and desire that he is able to understand his very reason for being.
