Everything Wrong With: The Purge
July 9th, 2014The Purge was a low-budget thriller that came out last summer and turned out to be an underground hit. The premise is a future America in which the government has an idea to help curb crime: one night each year simply refuse to enforce any laws for a period of 12 hours.
Although the sequel, The Purge: Anarchy opens on July 18, 2014, we just recently had the chance to watch the original 2013 film and, frankly, we were unimpressed and fail to see what the appeal was to begin with.
