Everything Wrong With the 2001 Planet of the Apes

2001’s Tim Burton version of Planet of the Apes was hard to watch. To us, Helena Bonham Carter never looked right in her Ari ape costume and Estella Warren’s character was just pretty much unbelievable throughout the film. And don’t get us started on the creepy ape played by Paul Giamatti.

Regardless, with Dawn of the Planet of the Apes coming to theaters on July 28, CinemaSins looks back at the 2001 film and gives us Everything Wrong With Planet of the Apes.
