Terry Gilliam’s The Zero Theorem: New Trailer

The Zero Theorem is an upcoming science fiction film by director Terry Gilliam (Brazil, Twelve Monkeys) and starring Christoph Waltz, Melanie Thierry, Tilda Swinton and Matt Damon. This new international trailer show Waltz as his character becomes more and more frustrated with humanity’s place in the world.

In the film, an eccentric and reclusive computer genius (Waltz) plagued with existential angst works on a mysterious project aimed at discovering the purpose of existence—or the lack thereof—once and for all. However, it is only once he experiences the power of love and desire that he is able to understand his very reason for being.
